These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AudioEditHub website and our suite of web-based audio editing tools (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and your agreement to abide by them.

1. The AudioEditHub Service Model: Local Processing

AudioEditHub is uniquely designed to operate with maximum respect for user privacy and security.

  • Client-Side Operation: All core functions, including editing, cutting, conversion, and applying effects, are executed entirely within your web browser (client-side).
  • No File Transmission: Your audio files and their content are never uploaded to, stored on, or accessed by AudioEditHub servers or any third-party cloud service during processing.
  • Security Limitation: While local processing is inherently secure, you acknowledge that no in-browser application is completely immune to risks, and you assume all risk associated with using the Service.

2. User Content and Ownership

You are fully responsible for the content you choose to process using the Service.

  • Retention of Rights: You retain all ownership rights, intellectual property rights, and copyright to the audio files and all content derived from them that you process through the Service.
  • Content Licensing: You warrant that you have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and process any audio file you submit to the Service.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold AudioEditHub harmless from any liability, claims, or expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of any third-party rights, including copyright.

3. Responsible Use and Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is prohibited by these Terms or any applicable local, state, national, or international law. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Processing content that is illegal, infringes upon intellectual property, or promotes violence, hate speech, or illegal acts.
  • Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service, including introducing viruses, malware, or attempting denial-of-service attacks.
  • Bypassing or circumventing any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Service.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudioEditHub shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • The use or inability to use the Service.
  • Any errors or omissions in the content or technology of the Service.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content (which, under our model, primarily resides on your device).

5. Changes to the Service and Terms

AudioEditHub reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
